Have you ever waited anxiously for a loved one -

your daughter, your partner, your mother - to get home safely?

The threat of violence in public spaces affects the physical and mental health of women and girls.
Three in four women modify their behaviour moving through their neighbourhoods.

And yet, city‑makers often lack the data and training to understand how people — especially women, the elderly, and people with disabilities — really experience them.
97% of city-makers report being under resourced.

We founded Inhabit Place to change that.

To date we have worked in over 500 locations across 8 countries, helping city‑makers deliver places that work for everyone.

Next we plan to give the community access to our training and technology so that anyone anywhere can self-organise, learn online, and collect local data.

This is the data we’ve never had.
